Non-reflective tint is allowed on the top 6 inches of the windshield.


Front Side Windows:

Must allow more than 24% of light in.


Back Side Windows:

Must allow more than 24% of light in.


Rear Window:

Must allow more than 24% of light in.


Other Restrictions:

Red, green, yellow, black and amber tints are not allowed.


* Percentages above are based on the percent of visible light that gets through the film known as film VLT%. The lower the VLT%, the darker the tint on the film.


* Washington State Window Tinting Laws are always subject to change each year. Some cities and countries in Washington may also have city ordinances that may play a factor. Please double check with your window tinting expert before applying or keeping your existing window tint.
